Shakespeare Alive

Conversations about Shakespeare's place in the 21st Century

Shakespeare Alive is back!

Join our resident experts Drs Paul Edmondson and Anjna Chouhan, for series two of our podcast, Shakespeare Alive, featuring new guests from across the globe. This time they will chat with actors, directors and scholars, hearing all about their work to keep Shakespeare alive in the twenty-first century.

Our guests for series two include: Rob Myles, Artistic Director of The Show Must Go Online; Flute Theatre’s Kelly Hunter; co-founder of the Guildford Shakespeare Company, Matt Pinches; and award-winning literary critic and historian, Dr Islam Issa.

Every Tuesday we ask our guest and listeners to share one modern-day item that they think should be included in an imagined Shakespeare museum of the future. What do you think of their choices, and what would you choose? Let us know at shakespeare.org.uk/future

You can listen to a new episode every Tuesday until 2nd March

If you still haven’t caught up with series one, every episode is still available on your favourite podcast platforms. Guests include theatre professionals, artists, vloggers and more.
