Nurture in Nature (29 October only) - Make and take family activities from the Cottage garden

This Halloween, pop your welly boots on and head to Anne Hathaway Cottage to get creative in an outdoor Witches Workshop, making spooky-inspired crafts and accessories.

Perfect for children 4+ accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian.

Pick up a Nature Explorer Backpack at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and discover all sorts of items to explore the cottage garden of young Anne.

Our Nature Explorer Backpacks are included in your admission and are exclusively available at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.

There is a limited number of backpacks available and will be issued on a first come first served basis to children aged between 4-11 years old.

Creative Explorer Backpacks - Be inspired in Shakespeare’s house

Pick up a Creative Explorer Backpack and discover the place where William Shakespeare himself wrote many of his most well known plays.

Infinite Variety Exhibition – The female characters in William Shakespeare’s plays are some of the most fascinating and enduring parts he wrote. This new exhibition at Shakespeare's New Place, explores four of the most compelling characters to help us better understand representations of womanhood in the 16th century and today. You will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating stories behind these female protagonists and see the wonderful costumes worn in RSC productions in Stratford-upon-Avon.
