Object Handling

at Shakespeare's family homes

This is your chance to hold a part of the Shakespeare story in your hands with objects from our collection.

During your visit to all of Shakespeare’s family homes our friendly team will be available to share with you a selection of objects that will help you get hands on with history and find out something new and different about life in Shakespeare’s time.

From Tudor piggy banks and toys to treasure discovered in the New Place dig, enjoy this sensory experience daily, across Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s New Place – ask our friendly guides on site for more information.

Enjoy daily from 23 March – 3 November, included in your admission.
