Will's World Online

An imaginative digital workshop telling the story of Shakespeare's life

Shakespeare’s stories, language and heritage can now be brought to you online with specific focus on A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest or Twelfth Night. The session is designed to capture your pupils' imagination through a series of supporting resources as well as activities, crafts and storytelling.

Your class will enjoy a short film telling the story of Shakespeare’s life, from cradle to grave, as well as a fun re-telling of The Tempest through the eyes of Ariel, A Midsummer Night's Dream through the eyes of Titania, the Queen of the Fairies, or Twelfth Night through the eyes of Feste, the jester. The re-tellings offer tales of magic, mayhem and enchantment. In addition, children can walk in William’s footsteps on a virtual tour of his childhood home.

The storytelling workshop was fabulous. Pitched brilliantly and involved every child. One of the best workshops I've attended.
