Enjoy a different hands-on activity every Sunday over the Warwickshire School holidays in the garden of Susanna Shakespeare’s home.
The beautiful gardens of Shakespeare’s New Place will play host to a special programme of artists workshops, creating artistic responses to the Women Who Made Shakespeare.
Join us from 12-4pm, every Sunday during the Warwickshire School Holidays as we welcome a different female artist and practitioner to the gardens of Shakespeare’s New Place, the home of Shakespeare’s daughter, Susanna, to explore the impact of the women who lived and worked at the property through creative expression.
Each event offers a unique opportunity to meet the artist, discover more about the different techniques or processes used and even get hands on yourself.
From poetry writing and circus skills to screen printing and calligraphy, come and create something different and explore the fascinating stories of the women who had a profound impact on William Shakespeare and his family.
