Conservation Volunteer - Winter Deep Clean

We are looking for three people to join our conservation volunteers team from January 2020.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in preventative conservation, engage visitor with conservation and get up close to the collections we have in Shakespeare's Birthplace

We have an award winning Learning department, delivering the national Shakespeare Week in March each year and workshops for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 primary school pupils. Volunteer with us for learning and engagement opportunities with school groups.

Hall's Croft

Visitor Engagement Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to join our close-knit and lively team. 

Help visitors to explore the beautifully furnished Jacobean home of Shakespeare’s daughter Susanna and her husband, the physician John Hall. Also to access the tranquil walled garden and discover the fragrant medicinal herbs, as John Hall would have used in his remedies.

Shakespeare's New Place

Visitor Welcome Volunteer or Visitor Engagement Volunteer 

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, welcoming and passionate about history. 

You’ll become part of a vibrant and friendly team that offer visitors historical talks and a friendly welcome to Shakespeare’s New Place. With contemporary artwork inspired by Shakespeare’s works, life and times, you will be helping to support Stratford’s heritage and continue Shakespeare’s legacy.

Visitor Engagement Volunteer 

You can help bring the 500 years of history to life at Anne Hathaway's Cottage.

This volunteer role involves giving a warm welcome to visitors, offering themed historical talks and monitoring the safety of our historic collections.
