Salute To Stratford

Celebrate the town of Shakespeare's birth in a #SaluteToStratford

456 years ago, something pretty amazing happened in Stratford-upon-Avon, and amazing things are still happening here to this day.

As Stratford’s traditional Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations are cancelled due to the coronavirus, we're turning the spotlight instead on all the brilliant and resilient people and businesses that make Shakespeare’s home town such a special place to live, work and visit.

We're going to give a massive #SaluteToStratford across social media to mark the 456th anniversary of our Bard’s birthday on 23 April.

We went live on social media to gather with our neighbours and celebrate everything that makes Stratford-upon-Avon an amazing place to live, work and visit.

Watch a recording of the livestream below.

We want to hear your stories about what makes Stratford special to you. Whether you've visited once, lived here all your life or always had us on the travel to-do list. We're keen to celebrate everything about what makes Stratford special, so it doesn't have to be about Shakespeare!

Share your stories on social media on 23 April using #SaluteToStratford.
