Illustrated talks for drama students in Stratford-upon-Avon

Why not join us on-site for an interactive, illustrated talk for your theatre/drama students delivered on the Shakespeare play of your choice.

During this 90 minute session, our experts will explore:

  • Alternative interpretations and presentations of Shakespeare’s play on stage
  • The contribution of directors, designers and performers to the theatrical experience
  • The original performance conditions and stagecraft in Shakespeare’s theatre of your chosen play
  • The social, cultural and historical context of the play in relation to its performance history
  • As well as facilitating a discussion of a live performance seen by the students in relation to all of the above.

Sessions can be booked all year round, Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm and take place onsite in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Price: £10 per person with a minimum charge of £150.

Maximum capacity per talk is currently 33 (students plus staff). Larger groups would be split across more than one session.

One member of staff is free with every 10 students.

A visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace can be arranged for an additional charge.
