Educational Visits

The perfect way to bring Shakespeare alive!

Students at all levels will enjoy inspirational and educational visits to our five historic houses in and around Stratford-upon-Avon, all directly linked to William Shakespeare and his family.

We offer pre-payment discounts for school groups, special UK school rates and a number of combination tickets, including opportunities to pair house visits with our educational courses and talks.

Familiarisation Visits and Risk Assessments

We offer free familiarisation visits to help teachers plan a school trip and carry out any necessary risk assessment evaluations prior to the visit. Please contact us to find out more.

Download our school visit resources including question and answer booklets and teacher resources to help enhance your students’ visit to the houses.

Getting Here

Coaches bringing visitors to Shakespeare's Birthplace are permitted to drop off and pick up groups directly from Windsor Street coach park, just one minute's walk from the front door of our Visitors Centre. The coach can then wait for the group at the Stratford Leisure Centre coach park.

There is free coach parking located at Anne Hathaway's Cottage and Mary Arden's Farm. Coaches are permitted to wait there free of charge until the group has completed its visit.

Coaches are permitted to drop off groups in front of Hall's Croft and Harvard House but must then wait for the group at the Leisure Centre.
