Conferences & Meetings

Inspire your delegates with a corporate event in the unique setting of the Shakespeare Centre.

The unique Grade II listed Shakespeare Centre features striking design and a suite of modern, well-equipped and versatile facilities.

Built in 1964 as a tribute to William Shakespeare on the 400th anniversary of his birth, The Shakespeare Centre is located in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, overlooking Shakespeare’s childhood home.

Our range of meeting rooms cater for intimate groups and full scale conferences up to 250 delegates, ensuring that we can offer the perfect space to suit your needs and your budget.

Event Spaces

The high-ceilinged Queen Elizabeth Hall is suitable for a wide range of activities and twins perfectly with the stylish Wolfson Hall. Both of these rooms have the added advantage of sharing a large lobby area with licensed bar facilities.

The beautiful Gordon Russell furnished Conference Room boasts a grand rosewood and walnut table, offering the perfect venue for a formal meeting against the beautiful backdrop of the house and gardens of Shakespeare’s Birthplace.

The bright and airy Shakespeare Room features a stunning full-wall design by Nicolete Gray that’s sure to inspire. Gray was an exponent of lettering and this carving of writers’ names is one of her most notable works.
