Volunteer Taster Sessions

at Shakespeare's Birthplace

Learn more about volunteering in our exhibition space, including a spotlight talk from one of our passionate guides.

Our recently opened exhibition, Becoming Shakespeare, uses items from our collection and immersive digital content to explore influences on the playwright from the world of Stratford-Upon-Avon.

You can be part of the experience through greeting visitors and providing extra detail about the objects. In this volunteering taster session, you will:

  • Meet one of our current Exhibition Volunteers for a spotlight talk on their favourite collection item
  • Have a go at greeting visitors yourself, with your guide there to support you
  • Finish with a self-guided tour of the exhibition and house
