Work Experience

Work experience placements usually last one or two weeks. Students are typically placed within the Shakespeare Houses team, although we occasionally accommodate Learning, Farming or Collections placements. 

You will have the chance to explore every aspect of the visitor experience, as well as the behind-the-scenes perspective, in your given location.

Placements start with a full introduction to the Trust, so you can meet the colleagues you’ll be working with and be shown what you’ll be getting involved in. You’ll be given support and guidance throughout your placement and there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions, learn and develop.
