'Macbeth' Drama Workshop for Home Educator Families

Join us for this fun, immersive drama workshop based around ‘Macbeth', one of Shakespeare's timeless stories.

The workshop is perfect for children aged 6-12, offering them the opportunity to immerse themselves in the inspirational setting of Mary Arden's Farm.

A fun, interactive session which leads the children through the play using a variety of activities. Brilliant inclusivity for the confident as well as the shyer.

Best Will in the World Drama Workshop on 'Macbeth'

Activities in this new drama workshop based around Macbeth include:

  • Exploring the major themes of The Tempest in a fun and interactive way
  • Finding out about the social and historical context of the play using artefacts and documents from the Trust's archives
  • Developing an understanding of the play's narrative and how scenes fit together
  • Rehearsing scenes from the play while working in small groups
  • Performing an abridged version using original text, movement and music
  • Exploring a Tudor farmhouse and meeting the animals.

Tickets cost £18.50 per child | One free accompanying adult | £5 for each additional adult.
