The GAP Co-Curated Exhibition
at Shakespeare's Birthplace
Exploring power and injustice across two of our display cases in our Famous Beyond Words exhibition space.
A first for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, our new co-curated display introduces the diverse and dynamic voices of five young artists as they bring fresh perspectives to the life, work and times of the world’s most famous writer, William Shakespeare.
Developed by The GAP, a young people’s arts organisation in Balsall Health, Birmingham, with the assistance of our curatorial team, the new display invites you to question ways that your knowledge is controlled today. Why do we believe the things we do and how do the people in power abuse their position?
Access to the exhibition is included in admission price to Shakespeare’s Birthplace and the Shakespeare’s Story ticket, giving you access to all three of Shakespeare’s family homes for one great price.
