Shakespeare and His World

Join Prof Jonathan Bate as he explores Shakespeare, his works and the world he lived in with the help of our collections here at SBT. Take a look inside the vaults where thousands of artefacts are kept and see some of the key locations associated with Shakespeare, including the house where he grew up. Join over 30,000 learners who have already explored Shakespeare’s World through this collaboration between the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and University of Warwick.

Exploring English: Shakespeare

A 6-week course designed for people who are learning English and are interested in the language and legacy of William Shakespeare. This course looks at the life and works of William Shakespeare, taking you from his Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon to the Globe Theatre in London, exploring five of his best loved plays along the way. A collaboration with the British Council as part of their Exploring English series.
