We here at Mary Arden’s farm are pleased to introduce our new Portland
ram “Corin”, he has come to us to bring a new lease of life to the Shakespeare
flock. Our old ram “Mascari” is about to retire as our flock has expanded to include
his daughters.
The Portland sheep have a good back story, it is said this breed of sheep were on board the ships of the Spanish armada to feed the sailors and when it sank the sheep swam ashore to Portland bill and inhabited.
Corin's settling in well with his new friends, so be sure to give him a wave next time you pay a visit to Mary Arden's Farm!
