Five year old Joe's Nan told me he knew lots about Shakespeare and she was right. It was great to meet Joe and his friends and family - including three year old Lucas and nine year old Briony - when they visited Shakespeare's Birthplace on the Bard's 450th birthday. What a brilliant bonus to discover Joe had been inspired to learn all about Shakespeare when his school in Northampton took part in Shakespeare Week - a national celebration of Shakespeare for children, launched this year by us here at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
