A unique opportunity to explore the hidden stories of love, loss and Tudor healing in the beautiful surroundings that inspired the much-loved novel, Hamnet.
In celebration of Maggie O'Farrell’s award-winning novel, Hamnet, you are invited to discover the real story of grief, loss and love at the family home of Anne Hathaway in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Discover the Story of Hamnet
On arrival at the Cottage, you will be greeted by your personal guide, dressed in traditional Tudor costume, who will offer you a specially crafted cocktail, inspired and infused with the botanicals and herbs that grow on the grounds of the property.
Then, it’s time to explore the hidden stories of family life, medicinal knowledge and heartache from centuries past as you explore the 15th-century building that was once home to generations of the Hathaway family.
The event includes a welcome drink and a special tour of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and its grounds.

Arrival from 5pm: Arrive at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, additional refreshments will be available to purchase.
Tour from 5.30pm - 7pm

Guests are recommended to wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear as most of the tour will take place outside.

For the enjoyment of all attendees, and so not to disturb the wildlife, places are limited to 20 people per session. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
