This spring, there are planned infrastructure projects taking place around Stratford-upon-Avon that may cause some disruption to your travel plans when you visit the home of Shakespeare.

HS2 Road Works – A46 (Coventry to Kenilworth)
11 April to 1 May 2025

As part of the HS2 development works in Warwickshire, a section of the A46 between Coventry and Kenilworth will be closed for 3 weeks, from Friday 11 April until Thursday 1 May 2025.

Following the completion of these works both carriageways will have regular lane closures and speed restriction of 50mph until Thursday 31 July which may cause further travel delays.

Birmingham Road – Stratford-upon-Avon

Warwickshire County Council is planning works on the Birmingham Road, one of the major arterial roads leading into Stratford-upon- Avon. No dates are confirmed, please see their website for more information.
