Let’s Talk Shakespeare: Podcasting and the Dragons Den

On 9th November, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust will be launching an exciting new ten-part podcast series "Let’s Talk Shakespeare".

Earlier in 2015, the Trust ran a “Dragons Den” event in which members of staff could pitch for up to £1000 to put towards an idea for a project. I was lucky enough to pitch successfully and, for the past few months, have been working on a series of podcasts.

In each podcast I pose a question to a selection of experts and practitioners form a range of fields - did Shakespeare love his wife? When did he go to London? How did he die? Through informal conversations, each interviewee draws on their experience to bring a different perspective to the answer.
