Introducing #TudorTuesday

Starting in November, we will post weekly Tudor trivia and feature visitor photography as part of #TudorTuesday.

Holly Young and Maren Johnson

This autumn, we will be posting unusual, fun facts and objects from our collections from the Tudor era on Twitter to promote the wider historical roots of Shakespeare’s Birthplace and our other heritage properties here in Stratford-upon-Avon. Meanwhile on Instagram, we'll be showcasing a selection of our favourite posts shared with us by visitors to the Trust.

We're excited to showcase both lesser known facts of the Tudor times as well as some of the fantastic photos and videos shared by our visitors. Look out for #TudorTuesday and impress your friends with our Tudor trivia!

The rear wall of the Birthplace, with a jutting first-floor window, is on the right.. In front are shrubs and trimmed box trees, and a path leading to a group of benches, while in the rear is a row of timber-frame houses.

#TudorTuesday will start on 6 November 2018. If you don’t already, follow us on Twitter @ShakespeareBT for your weekly dose of Tudor trivia. Follow us on Instagram @shakespearebtrust, and don’t forget to tag us and use #TudorTuesday for the chance to have your content featured.
