We recently celebrated the achievement of 21 fantastic volunteers who completed a whopping 200 hours or more of volunteering with us during 2014. What better way to mark the occasion than with afternoon tea at the Shakespeare Centre?
This was a great opportunity for everyone at the event to get to know each other a little better and to share some of the wonderful stories of volunteering here at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. Certificates and pin badges were also issued as a small token of our thanks.
All volunteers who have worked 20 hours or more for the Trust qualify for our staff discounts and benefits scheme, and we recently launched a new 'Volunteer of the quarter' award as another way to recognise the achievements and contributions of our fantastic volunteer team.
