Onsite and Outreach Early Years and Foundation Stage Workshops

Our children learnt so much throughout the day… the activities were very age appropriate, all the staff were very welcoming, calm and patient with our children. We all absolutely loved it and we can’t wait to return!

Planting the Seeds for Shakespeare Outreach

Choose between either A Midsummer Night's Dream or The Tempest.

This energetic and interactive workshop is the perfect introduction to the incredible world of Shakespeare's stories.

Children will take part in an interactive, storytelling session where they are introduced to some of the key characters and magical moments within the chosen play. No-one is asked to sit for long, as the children discover a variety of props hidden around the classroom which must be collected to create the world of the play.

To encourage the children to continue their journey with Shakespeare and storytelling at home, they will then make a prop to take away: headbands, wands or fairy wings for A Midsummer Night's Dream and a miniature boat or a musical shaker for The Tempest.

A lively music and movement session provides a wonderful finale to this workshop as the children dance with ribbons, shake their bells and sing for Shakespeare.
