This summer, visitors to Stratford-Upon-Avon, are set to experience Shakespeare in the place he once called home, as live actors perform in the garden of Shakespeare’s Birthplace famous scenes from 18 of his most iconic plays. Plays, that without the First Folio would have been lost to history.
From 26 July to 3 September, the talented team from 'Events in History' will be in the garden of Shakespeare's Birthplace daily, providing visitors with a unique experience of some of Shakespeare’s most iconic and lesser-known plays, bringing them to life for all to enjoy.
’All the World’s a Stage’, forms part of a special programme of events and activities taking place across Shakespeare’s family homes in Stratford-upon-Avon throughout the summer as visitors are welcomed back to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the First Folio.

Visitors can expect to witness captivating performances of some of the most popular Shakespeare scenes, from The Tempest to Macbeth, As You Like It to The Taming of the Shrew as well as some of the more unknown plays, including King John, Timon of Athens and many more.

‘All the World’s a Stage’ runs from 26 July to 3 September 2023 and is included in admission to Shakespeare’s Birthplace. Tickets are priced at £18 for adults, and £9 for children, with under 3s going free. Performances will take place every 20 minutes.
