Winter School 2025

Adult Leisure Learning

Join us to discover more about 'all things Shakespeare' and enjoy lively conversation in beautiful surroundings.

Includes performances of The Red Shoes and Twelfth Night with Samuel West as Malvolio.

This year we will be focusing on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Hans Christian Andersen's The Red Shoes, as well as exploring questions of editing, adapting, and casting works for the stage. As part of our multi-year project, 'The Women Who Made Shakespeare', we will also be shining a spotlight on Shakespeare's women. Enjoy talks from subject specialists and theatre practitioners, and hear a wide range of thoughts (as well as sharing your own) in our post-performance discussions.
