All activities are included in general admission so if you already have a valid pass you can come along for free!

Shakespeare's New Place

Sing-a-long Sundays
7 July & 4 August, 11am 
Join in with a Makaton sing-a-long sessions based on Tudor and modern nursery rhymes and enjoy our Makaton quiz.


Anne Hathaway's Cottage

Big Picnic
20 July, 11am - 4 pm
Join us in the gardens to enjoy a day of family fun at our annual Big Picnic celebrations. Enjoy garden games, face painting, magic tricks, outdoor puppet theatre and live music.  For an extra special treat, why not tuck in to our sizzling barbecue delights?  Free entry for CV37 residents (with proof of address).  

Shakespaw's Day
24 August, 11am - 4 pm
Bring your dog, a picnic and join in activities and competitions as we celebration National Dog Day.
30% off the entry fee* if you bring your dog.
*Excludes family tickets.  

The Visited Orchard
22 July - 1 September
This summer we invite you to follow artist Francesca Millican-Slater's unique hunt around the site, picking up clues that will unlock the stories of visitors from the past and present.  Write your own story on an ornamental apple and hang it on the special tree that will grow with visitor apples through the summer before being 'harvested' in September.  


Mary Arden's Farm

Lammas Day
1 August, 10am-5pm
Join us for storytelling, music and bread-making as we celebrate Lammas, a special date in the Tudor calendar.


Hall’s Croft

Jacobean Storytelling
26, 27, 31 July, 2, 3, 16, 17, 30, 31 August, 12 pm - 4 pm
Relax in our tranquil garden and listen to the stories of the horse with the glass eye, the cat that visited Hall's Croft, the mouse that met Master Hall and much more.


Plus, don't miss our fabulous family trails that bring each of the houses to life with extra puzzles and treasure hunts for children of all ages.
