The Secret Lives of Early Printed Books

Collections Talk and Cream Tea

Discover the unique features of early printed books and how previous owners marked their ownership.

Delve into the wonderful world of early printed books with our Collections Librarian, Mareike Doleschal, who will shed light on how some of the Trust's most important books were used and in what regard they were held. She will also share some hidden gems from the extensive rare book collection.

Taking place in our historic Conference Room at the Shakespeare Centre, the talk will be followed by a cream tea in the Marble Hall overlooking the garden at Shakespeare's Birthplace.

The talk starts at 2pm and will be followed by the cream tea at 3.10pm.

The event takes place at the Shakespeare Centre, Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6QW.

Tickets: £14 per person / Friends £10

Booking closes on Thursday 12 March.
