Become a history detective this summer
Children can have fun becoming a history detective with three new family trails at Shakespeare's family homes this summer.
Our beautifully illustrated family trails are packed full of interesting information to keep the young ones entertained. Each trail includes lots of fun facts, easy to follow clues and questions and offers opportunities to search for items, ask our expert guides and much more.
At Shakespeare's Birthplace, walk in William's footsteps and explore the house where he was born and grew up. Put your spotting skills to the test by finding the mystery objects, design your own Tudor wall hanging, and discover what William would have used as a toilet!
At Shakespeare's New Place, try your hand at writing Tudor-style, complete the rot or not challenge and design your own sculpture inspired by Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.
At Anne Hathaway's Cottage challenge your family to a game of Nine Men's Morris, design your own coat of arms and create a souvenir of your visit to the Cottage.
There's plenty to keep the children entertained whilst you relax and enjoy your family day out.
Trails are free of charge and included in general admission.
