Music & Tudor Mince Pies

Part of the Winter Programme

Hear traditional Tudor musicians at Shakespeare's Birthplace

Come along to Shakespeare's Birthplace this festive period and hear traditional Tudor musicians - A Merrie Noyse - who will be roaming around the house, playing festive tunes.

Ask them about their traditional instruments and learn how they evolved into the contemporary instruments we know today. Round off your visit with an opportunity to sample a traditional Tudor mince pie - which is a little different to what you might expect.

This event is part of our Winter programme, where we celebrate Christmas traditions from Shakespeare's time and today with a fascinating series of talks, tours and performances throughout December. This event is included in your visit.
