Garden Host Volunteer Taster Session

A winter walk and talk to find out more about volunteering in Shakespeare’s New Place Gardens

Find out more about volunteering as a Garden Host as part of our Shakepeare's New Place team and how you can help support us.

Our Garden Host volunteers look after Shakespeare’s New Place Gardens in all weathers, telling visitors about Shakespeare’s house which originally stood on the site. Join us on Wednesday 3 December for a group volunteering taster session where you can embrace the great outdoors and experience the Garden Host role for yourself.

The session from 11.30-1pm will include an introduction from the New Place team, a refreshing walk around the site, and shadowing a talk from one of our passionate volunteers.

Please note that the whole session takes place outside with little shelter, but we will have a limited number of seats available for the talk aspects.
