Christmas at New Place

We look forward to welcoming you this winter

'Our play is done' - oh no it isn't!
Every day in December, 12-4pm

Shakespeare is ready to travel home but can't leave London until he's finished Twelfth Night ready for 6 January. If he doesn't make it home then Christmas will be cancelled! Search the historic site for hidden clues to complete the final speech.  Once you are finished take it to the informal learning rooms where you'll be able to create your own hourglass to take home.

A Christmas Sing-a-long
21 December & 24 December, 11am

Join us for a special Makaton Christmas sing-a-long including 'Jingle Bells' and 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' and the session will end with a Christmas story. Come dressed in your best Christmas outfit as there will be a prize for the most festive person!

After the songs have finished you can enjoy our specially created Makaton Christmas trail around the site of Shakespeare's New Place where you can get hands on with sculptures and other interactive parts of the site.

These activities are included in normal admissions - so if you already have a valid ticket you can come along for free!
