You are cordially invited to our annual Shakespeare’s Shorts film competition awards ceremony on Thursday 20th April at 7pm. To view the ceremony on YouTube follow: shakespeare.org.uk/shakespeare-shorts-2022

Pour yourself something cold and settle down for an evening as we celebrate a selection of short films made by some of the most talented new film makers around the world. Entrants to the 2022 Shakespeare Shorts competition responded one of the following categories:

  • Best film inspired by ‘Shakespeare’ (up to 10 mins)
  • Best film with the theme 'Shakespeare and Hope' (up to 10 mins)
  • Best Shakespeare-themed animation (up to 5 mins)
  • Best Shakespeare film or animation by a young filmmaker (up to 10 mins, 5-17 year olds only)

Black tie optional.

Shakespeare Shorts is a competition for all films and animations inspired by Shakespeare. It is brought to you by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
