Our Patrons play a crucial part in protecting our unique collections and offering thousands of people a unique insight into Shakespeare’s work, life and times.

As a Patron of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, we invite you to join us for unique and prestigious events, including the annual birthday celebrations in Stratford-upon-Avon, private viewings, exclusive tours and the chance to meet the people at the heart of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

There are five levels in the Patron scheme, following William Shakespeare’s extraordinary life story, from the son of a humble “Glover” to the “Sweet Swan of Avon” immortalised by Ben Jonson in his eulogy to Shakespeare.

Patrons at all levels receive the benefits of a joint Friends membership including:

  • Supporter newsletter three times a year.
  • Unlimited free entry to all five Shakespeare family homes for you and one other named member.
  • Invitations to exclusive Friends events.
  • 10% discount at all Shakespeare Birthplace Trust shops and cafes.
