Spotlight on Shakespeare

A focused session on a play of your choice, for KS3

On your choice of Shakespeare’s plays, during this 60 minute session, students will:

  • explore literary and historical context
  • discuss language use and effects
  • discover original stagecraft
  • consider characterisation
  • imagine staging scenes
  • identify ideas and issues
  • examine the writer’s craft
  • see scenes performed live by our Drama Education Actors 

Pick one of Shakespeare's plays to suit your students’ needs. Please indicate your play selection when booking.

Available: all year round
Venue: The Shakespeare Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6QW
Duration: 2 hours including visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace
Prices: £8.00 when combined with entry to Shakespeare’s Birthplace 

A minimum charge applies, based on 20 people.
