Spotlight on Shakespeare

A focused session on a play of your choice, for KS3

On your choice of Shakespeare’s plays, students will:

  • Explore literary and historical context
  • Discuss language use and effects
  • Discover original stagecraft
  • Consider characterisation
  • Imagine staging scenes
  • Identify ideas and issues
  • Examine the writer’s craft
  • See scenes performed live by our Drama Education Actors 

Pick one of Shakespeare's plays to suit your students’ needs. Please indicate your play selection when booking.

Available: all year round
Venue: The Shakespeare Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6QW
Duration: 2 hours including visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace / 60 minutes for illustrated talk only

Prices: £6.00 per student - talk only
£8.00 when combined with entry to Shakespeare’s Birthplace 
(minimum charge applies, based on 20 people)
