Shakespeare Loan Box

Church State and Everyday Religion in Stratford-upon-Avon, 1269 -1603

Our loan box is targeted to respond to the KS3 History Curriculum focusing on the development of church, state and society in Medieval and Renaissance Britain and providing a focus for a local history study.

Featuring illustrated resources to enhance your study of the replica items, the loan box and resources encourage pupils to explore the subject of religious change and how and why contrasting interpretations of the past exist.

A three week loan costs just £25 (collection and delivery must be arranged independently).

The loan box contains:

  • 6 high quality historical replicas
  • A folder of high res images
  • Resources on 4 related topics
  • A self led trail round Stratford-upon-Avon

We also recommend that you compliment the town trail with a visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Hall's Croft or - from July 2016 - Shakespeare’s New Place.
