William at Home

A fascinating window into William Shakespeare’s world in Stratford-upon-Avon.

In a hands-on session led by our experienced team your pupils will:

  • Visit the home of the world's most famous playwright
  • Discover how Tudor houses were made
  • Experience Tudor school activities
  • Handle Tudor artefacts
  • Find out what Shakespeare's father did for a living
  • Play the games that William and his brothers and sisters would have played
  • Dress up as Shakespearian characters to enact his legacy

Available: Term-time all year round.
Venue: The Shakespeare Centre, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 6QW

Price: £7.50 per pupil, including a visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace

Optimum capacity for all workshops is one class - please call +44 (0)1789 207131 to discuss alternative group sizes.
One member of staff (free of charge) is required to accompany every six children. 
A minimum charge equivalent to 20 pupils applies.
Lunch spaces can be made available at both venues on request.
