Illustrated talks on the performance history and choices of your chosen play. Ideal for AQA 'Drama and Theatre' and Edexcel 'Realising a Performance Text'.

In relation to your choice of any of Shakespeare's plays, students will:

  • Explore the contribution of directors, designers and performers to the theatrical experience
  • Consider alternative interpretations of Shakespeare's plays on stage
  • Discuss and analyse performance.
Aiming for an A*: to sharpen awareness of the topic, students are introduced to a range of carefully selected archive materials.

Classes are illustrated with materials from our world-renowned library and archive, and can be booked for the time and date of your choice, Monday to Friday.

Venue: The Shakespeare Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6QW

Prices: £8 per person
£10 when combined with entry to Shakespeare's Birthplace
(minimum charge applies, based on fifteen people)
