Next Stage: Beyond KS5

The best pathway to Shakespeare at university

11 December 2019

Open to schools and colleges nationwide

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is launching a NEW initiative designed to challenge and inspire A Level students applying, or thinking of applying, to study English at university.

'Next Stage' will bring students who share a passion for Shakespeare together (along with their teachers) to explore Shakespeare's life, works and legacy, beyond the constraints of examination specifications.

Leading Shakespeare experts will engage students in discussions and debates about a range of Shakespeare-related topics, giving them a taste of university level study.

The event offers a unique opportunity for high achievers to learn alongside and hear from other students applying to study English, as well as serving as useful preparation for university interviews.

There will also be CPD benefits for accompanying teachers.

Venue: The Shakespeare Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6QW
Duration:  10.30 am to 3.45 pm
Price: £25 per person including a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace

No minimum attendee numbers apply.
