Blood, Guts and Gore

Explore the darker side of Shakespeare’s world.

Always thought Shakespeare was unappealing to teenagers? How about a slightly different take on his plays? This session concentrates on the gory side of Shakespeare – blood, guts and gore.

Participants will work with the help of specially designed vocabulary sheets and museum objects or replica. No previous knowledge of Shakespeare is necessary for this course.

  • Improve listening and speaking skills
  • Expand their vocabulary and acquire specialist vocabulary
  • Improve the range, accuracy and fluency of expression

Available:  Monday to Friday, all year round.

"I was sceptical when booking but I’ll book the talk again – it was very appealing to the students and got their attention."
