The Shakespeare Film Festival is back for 2018

Join us in Stratford-upon-Avon for a two day festival of Shakespeare on film. Our theme for 2018 is 'Making Peace'.

Friday 21 September

Saturday 22 September

Outdoor screening of the winning entries in our short film competition Filming Shakespeare: Making Peace. We will show a variety of new films and animations inspired by Shakespeare and addressing the theme of making peace. Come along and see what Shakespeare’s works have inspired in today’s film makers.

Budding animators of all ages are invited to join us and the experts from Yamination Studio for a very special masterclass. Look out for more details of two beginners workshops on Saturday 22 September, tailored towards either adults or children.
