Anjna Chouhan

Lecturer in Shakespeare Studies

Dr Anjna Chouhan teaches Shakespeare and his contemporaries to students and enthusiasts from around the world. Anjna specialises in Shakespeare in the 19th century and edited the Pickering and Chatto source book on Henry Irving (2012). 

As well as working closely with Cambridge Schools Shakespeare on resources and sixth form conferences, Anjna has contributed to the Dorling Kindersley Shakespeare Book (2015) and Arden Shakespeare's 1616: Shakespeare and Tang Xianzu

Anjna works closely with the RSC on their sixth form conferences, and has recently become an educator on their internationally popular Othello MOOC, as well as making a special appearance in the British Council's Exploring English with Shakespeare MOOC. Anjna also acts as a Shakespeare consultant for BBC Learning, and appeared on Great British Railway Journeys to speak about Victorian tourism to Shakespeare's Birthplace.
