Winter School 2013 will be based around the RSC’s productions of The Merry Wives of Windsor directed by Phillip Breen (Wednesday evening) and starring Desmond Barrit as Falstaff; The Orphan of Zhao - sometimes referred to as the Chinese  Hamlet - directed by Gregory Doran (Thursday evening) and Boris Godunov directed by Michael Boyd in his final production as Artistic Director of the RSC (Friday evening). 

The programme will a include key speakers, discussions of the performances, question and answer sessions with members of the RSC, as well as a selection of lectures and discussions all with a Shakespearian theme.

Theatre tickets are on reserve for course participants for each of the three productions. 

We are offering the following two options:

• Basic course including lunch and theatre tickets for all three plays £210 per person
• Basic course including lunch but no theatre tickets  £150 per person.

Venues: The Shakespeare Centre and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre

The course is non-residential and participants will need to make their own arrangements for accommodation.
