Explore the history of food and drink in Stratford-upon-Avon in a free pop-up exhibition at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

This drop-in day will explore food preparation and dining through the centuries, drawing from our archives of Stratford-upon-Avon and nearby estates. From 16th century posy trenchers to Charlie Chaplin’s note to the cook at the Shakespeare Hotel, this is a unique opportunity to discover our varied and often surprising collections.

Visit our Collection pages to find out more about the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust archive and the hidden treasure it has to offer.
