Tudor Harvest Fair
Part of Summer Holidays
Experience the noise and bustle of a 16th-century hiring market.
23-25 August 2014
Mary Arden's Farm
Meet the Wise Woman, candle maker, maid, Tudor fool and others as they look for harvest work at our traditional Tudor Hiring Fair. Talk to the workers and decide who you'd hire, then browse a range of Tudor stalls at the Harvest Fair market.
Try your hand at candle making, finger braiding and other Tudor crafts, and see demonstrations including stone masonry and spinning and weaving with the Stratford Spinners and Weavers Guild.
Sample Tudor ales and mead at the Harvest Bar (provided by the Fleece Inn), and test your skills at the Archery Range (additional charges apply).
