Ever wanted to learn more about the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s collections? Collections in the Spotlight gives you a chance to see temporary displays of objects that are usually tucked away in our archives. 

You can find out even more about the objects on display in special 15 minute talks held throughout the year. Keep checking back for more details!


Collections in the Spotlight Objects 

April - September
Hall's Croft - a display of items including John Hall's signet ring and seal impression, a urine flask and a copy of Doctor Hall’s observations.

Shakespeare's Birthplace - Learn about the Victorians' restoration of the Birthplace during the late 1800s from our special display in the hall. To find out even more catch a fascinating talk every Tues throughout October at 2pm.

Shakespeare's Birthplace - Discover more about items from the Tudor world and how they influenced Shakespeare's works as you follow a route around the house. How were these items used and which of Shakespeare's plays do they appear in? 


This activity is included in admission, all houses tickets are valid for 12 months for unlimited return visits.
