Partnership with Paperchase

We are proud to be working in partnership with Paperchase as part of our Shakespeare Week celebrations.

03 March 2014

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is extremely proud to be launching the very first Shakespeare Week from 17-23 March, when we will be leading the way in a UK-wide celebration that will introduce Shakespeare to thousands of primary school children and their families.

As part of our Shakespeare Week celebrations we have teamed up with the UK’s top stationer, Paperchase, to run a series of special activities at Shakespeare’s family homes. Visitors will have the opportunity to encounter mythical beasts, enchanted gardens and gruesome diseases of days gone by from 22-23 Mar, 29-30 Mar and 5-27 Apr.

Paperchase is also launching a competition on 17 March, inviting children aged 5-11 to design a postcard with a Shakespeare theme. Inspiration could come from a play, a character, or the man himself, and the winning design will be printed and sold in selected Paperchase stores in the UK.

The lucky winner and a selection of runners up will each receive a goodie bag of pens, pencils and other stationary items to help keep your arts and crafts activities well stocked!
