For those new to the Shakespeare story:

All About Shakespeare - From £7.50 pp

Everything you need to know about Shakespeare in a nutshell. This 45 minute illustrated talk tells you about Shakespeare’s life and times in Stratford-upon-Avon and London. Learn about the man himself, his childhood, his schooldays, his early married life and his illustrious writing career.  From birth to death and everything Shakespearian in between.

 

For the English language learner:

Do You Know Shakespeare? - From £7.50 pp

A 60 minute workshop designed specifically for students who can understand and communicate in English using a range of tenses, simple grammatical structures, and have a limited range of vocabulary. The perfect opportunity to improve listening and speaking, practise using past tenses, improve range, accuracy and fluency of expression. (Price includes admission to Shakespeare's Birthplace).

 

For the nature lover and gardener:

Garden Tours - From £7.50 pp

Informative guided tours with a member of our award-winning Gardens Team at your choice of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage or Hall’s Croft. (Price also includes admission to the house.)

 

For the Shakespeare and History enthusiast:

Hidden History - From £14.50 pp

Enjoy exclusive access to a selection of the precious treasures held in our Library and Archive. View early editions of Shakespeare’s works and original documents relating to Shakespeare and his family. Also displayed are production photos, prompt books and multi-media materials from the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre archives. This is an addition not to be missed on any visit to the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

Birthplace Grand Tour - £32.00 pp

This exciting and unique tour of Shakespeare’s childhood home is an ideal way to start your group’s evening in Stratford-upon-Avon. Wine and a selection of canapés provide a stylish welcome followed by an exclusive tour of the Birthplace with our knowledgeable guides. As you explore the house costumed actors perform excerpts from Shakespeare’s works, and you have the opportunity to take in our Shakespeare’s Treasures exhibition at leisure. The evening culminates with a taste of traditional mead.

 

Birthplace Sparkling Tour - £38.00 pp

This celebratory exclusive package includes all elements of the Birthplace Grand Tour. In addition, the evening begins with a gladd of sparkling wine and your group is given a copy of The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust official guidebook as a parting gift. 

 

Setting The Scene - From £35.00 pp (including dinner)

Enjoy a pre-performance talk examining the literary and historical context of your chosen play and its performance history before dinner. In the atmospheric restaurant at Hall's Croft, home of Susanna Shakespeare, sit down to a two-course meal with wine and listen to one of our Shakespearian experts. Only a few minutes' walk away from the theatres, this is the perfect prelude to your groups' evening before seeing the plays brought to life by the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company.
