Say it with Flowers exhibition
Our exhibition, Say it with Flowers, explores the symbolism of flowers during the Elizabethan period and how Shakespeare used them in his works.

The exhibition also looks at the Victorian language of flowers as a tool for communicating messages of love. It features some wonderful items from the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust's Collections, including pieces of beautiful Elizabethan embroidery.
The fragrant theme continues in the garden with a charming Lavender Maze and a riot of blooms in flower, forever changing with the seasons.
Closing date 31 December 2013.
