Say it with Flowers Exhibition
Our Say it with Flowers exhibition explores the symbolism of flowers during the Elizabethan period and looks at the ways that Shakespeare used them in his work.
The exhibition also looks at the Victorian language of flowers as a tool for communicating messages of love. It features some wonderful items from the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust's Collections, including pieces of beautiful Elizabethan embroidery.
This fragrant theme continues in the garden with a charming Lavender Maze and a riot of blooms, forever changing with the seasons.
