Discover where the young William Shakespeare courted his future bride Anne Hathaway at her picturesque family home.
Enjoy beautiful gardens in Stratford upon Avon. Anne Hathaway's Cottage is a thatched farmhouse with stunning grounds and gardens, which overflow with fragrant blooms and traditional shrubs.The cottage is in Shottery, a hamlet within the parish of Stratford-upon-Avon. It is just over one mile from the town centre and can be accessed via a pleasant, well sign-posted footpath.

Planned works at Anne Hathaway's Cottage & Gardens
From 1st October planned conservation work will be carried out on the chimney at Anne Hathaway's Cottage. The cottage will remain open throughout the works, and visitors are invited to come and learn about traditional methods of restoration.
